Bill Wagner is a Youth Evangelist who lives in Tacoma, WA and the founder of The Youth Mission Corps. He has extensive experience working with youth, especially in the Pierce County area. His experience includes working directly with youth, administration of youth programs, serving on youth program boards, and being politically involved as an advocate for youth issues.
Bill spent most of 2007 serving as an Administrative Assistant for Josh Holland and Steve Peterson of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He spent many hours on the front lines of planning for all of the Children and Student events for The Pacific NW Franklin Graham Festival. He has front line associations with over 240 churches working with their prayer teams, Operation Andrew teams, student and children's pastors, pastors, workers and leaders of all levels, security teams, usher teams, Christian Life and Witness teams and others.
Several hallmark student events Bill helped organize and implement include the Student Workers Breakfast, Ignite the Flame, Rock the City, Gravity, and Student Night at The Pacific NW Franklin Graham Festival at the Tacoma Dome. Other events he helped plan and implement include Empower, Fan the Flame, The Children's Worker's Dessert, The Children's Worker's Bar-B-Q, Vertical Reach, and KidzFest at the Tacoma Dome.
Bill serves on the Parkland First Baptist Church Council. He served as a Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Tacoma Girls Choir. He has served on an Advisory Committee for the business department at Pierce College. He was the first District Commissioner for the Mountain District, Pacific Harbors Council, Boy Scouts of America. He has served as the finance chairman for the Lakes District (BSA), a scoutmaster, a cubmaster, and a committee chairman for the parent's committee-all with the BSA.
Bill is the founder of The Wagner Affinity Group, a company dedicated to teaching personal development according to scripture. He is a professional personal development SuccessCoach and is known on the internet as The SuccessCoach.
He is an accomplished public speaker. He was the Keynote speaker for a Phi Theta Kappa leadership conference and to the 29th District of the Washington State Democratic committee. He was a guest on KIRO Radio's Legal Line with Bob Pitman. He has also facilitated hundreds of seminars on personal development for local businesses.
His works, How to Reduce Unscheduled Employee Absenteeism NOW! and The Physiology of the Goal, both have global acceptance. His development of The Physiology of the Goal over a 12 year period of time has evolved into the God-led foundation for The Youth Mission Corps. The Physiology of the Goal was used as a teaching tool in management classes at Pierce College.
Bill is listed in Who's Who in Executives and Businessmen and in Who's Who in American Colleges.
Convinced that his lifelong love of working with youth coupled with the God inspired development of Physiology brought Bill to the realization that The Youth Mission Corps needed to become a reality! Challenged and encouraged by his pastor and friend, Scott Crawford, Bill now sees that there is no work that would have greater need or reward than The Youth Mission Corps.
